WOT-Tech OBD2 Tuning

Coming soon! I am getting a complete GM V6 tuning setup for HPT so that I can offer tuning for stock and modified V6 engines. I am excited, as I will no longer have to rely on other companies to do the type of quality work that I expect for the 60V6.

how much ben?

WhiteV6 02-17-2010 01:56 AM

$100 plus core most likely. I have to source the PCMs and get everything sorted out over the next month or so.

i want in, for the blue one

If we have a HPT tuner will you be willing to Email tunes to customer for there cars?

WhiteV6 02-17-2010 10:28 AM

I was planning to offer this type of service to those that buy the programmer from WOT-Tech. As far as a tuning service where datalogs are sent and a list of modifications given, I am sure something will be figured out.

hok666 02-17-2010 12:46 PM

so basically the one your selling will be kind of like hp tuners right?

jackal2000 02-17-2010 12:50 PM

nice, i'll let you take a crack at mine. i have a spare pcm around here somewhere...

JLw7123 02-17-2010 02:27 PM

I want one.

Redog 02-20-2010 01:38 AM

I also have a few spare PCM's but I would like my shift points to stay the same, but IDK what they are :drunk:

WhiteV6 02-20-2010 08:26 AM

hptuners is a tuner and costs $500 for the reg version and $650 for the pro version. What I will be selling (aside from those) are pcms with a reflash for performance and mpg. Until I do the R&D, I can't sell those pcms:P

Shift points can be kept stock, no problem there:P

so what tyoe of gain can one expect from the wot tech tuner? on a stock v6? the price seems decent. are you talking full tune or just the equipment to do a tune if you know what your doing lol?

Both. $500 for the programmer, $650 for the pro version with wide band input and datalogging without a laptop, and in the future, $100 plus a core charge for a reflash.

If you are modded, I am not going to be able to tune your car without datalogs or previous experience tuning a similar setup. This is what I am working on, with a stock setup first.

Yeah i dunno either...

Did some tuning yesterday and got fueling down. Holy cow is there a KR issue though. I will get it figured out but it might be a bit. I am going to let Phil borrow my tuner so we can get more testing down through the week. I expect a considerable improvement when that is done. He is already seeing a MPG increase but he is running trailblazer injectors and 3500 heads/lower. The rest is stock.

Progress:)

Any advances in this? I am looking to eventually buy the pro since it seems the regular really cannot help much...

I don't really know about premade tunes. It just isn't going to be optimal. A personal tune is the only way to go for maximum gains.

WhiteV6 12-29-2010 02:28 AM

Been a slow year for OBD2 tuning progress, mostly due to lack of vehicles to use. I won't have this problem in Florida.
