From Alaska to west Virginia

I no longer live in Alaska, I made the 5000 mile drive in my alero about a week ago and I was very impressed by the car, didn't have one problem and my favorite part, 5000 miles and didn't even spend 200 bucks on fuel the car is great on gas, I didn't realize how popular aleros were tho, in ak there are maybe 10 of them Down here they are everywhere lol but yeah that was my rant for the day, have a great day

I third that

Really pushing it to 450 a tank and being totally empty at each fill requiring $39.06 for 14 gallons at $2.79 a gallon, your gas cost would be $468.72. Which isn't bad for driving 5000 miles

Where you at in PA? are you near eighty-four?

Blade 01-10-2010 07:22 AM

Now that I think about it. I drove from Maryland to Florida and back, and I wanna say that I spend around $150.00 in gas.

^^ How many years ago?

doubleN0alero 01-10-2010 10:44 PM

NC to PA costs me around $34 in the Honda and I make it on 1 tank (472 miles) so 5000 miles for 200 is a little far fetched...but anyhow, glad you made it down there...just be careful in the back country.

That01Olds 01-10-2010 11:29 PM

5,000 miles now that's a roadtrip.

[ion] C2 01-11-2010 12:09 AM

You'd have to be getting over 60 average MPG to spend $200 for a 5000 mile trip.

Oldsnut 01-11-2010 12:38 AM

He just haz fuzzy math. :)

anthonylarzelere 01-11-2010 01:02 AM

My bad 300, 200 woulda been nice but it was 300 I have every receipt if noone believes lol

Ttop191 01-11-2010 01:09 AM

that still means u got about 47mpg....what engine do you have, because i peaked at 41.1 mpg with a 144mile trip i made last summer in my LD9, so this is very slightly more believable

Ttop191 01-11-2010 01:14 AM

wow, just checked your new member post and you have an LD9...hmmz...must be something that makes white coupes have better gas mileage :D
