I present: "My OSV"

Well, here it is. After almost a year of not having my car for the creation of the bodykit and having issues with Aldo after that and then getting deployed for a long time; I finally was able to get the kit painted and the exhaust tip done. still missing the muffler but I got an appointment on Friday to get it done. Well, here's the pics. Enjoy!!!! :coolio:

exhaust tip is a little off at the center, but it works for me

Looks great man. Good work.

Cashdollar2009 04-21-2010 11:32 PM

Gorgeous! I really like that color.

joserivas19 04-21-2010 11:42 PM

thank you. i wanted to change the color at first and then said to myself "why spend more money painting everything a new color when all that needs painting is the kit itself."

clutch1 04-21-2010 11:50 PM

Omg! SOOOO GORGEOUS! This is the first complete kit, right? Looks great.

Although it does need bigger rims or a drop ;)

Looks really Good!!!!!!!!!!!!!

adam337 04-22-2010 12:02 AM

even with all the issues from them.. gotta admit thats looks sexy. shoulda painted your mirrors too though.

Naich 04-22-2010 12:05 AM

teh hotness

joserivas19 04-22-2010 12:06 AM

i thought about painting the mirrors too but if they get hit by a door or something the paint is just gonna come off, so i didnt bother with them.

oh, and yes, this is the first bodykit that was made for the group buy. some of the other guys i think got theirs painted before i did, but i think im the 1st one with the exhaust tip that is close to the original one. next, i have to work on the interior trim and the seats. and i still hope i can get my hands on the original rims, even though i dont think it'll ever happen.

Oldsman 04-22-2010 12:07 AM

wow. bumpers look as good as mine. how did you attach the wing? how long did it take the shop to fix and fit everything? the sheetmetal tip don't look bad.

joserivas19 04-22-2010 12:08 AM

and i will need bigger rims, i cant drop it no more. its too close to the ground as is.

it took 4 days to paint and attach the kit with the wing. they used 3M tape for the wing. and for the tip it took them a total of 4 hours to fabricate it and 1 hour of measuring, but the car was there for 2 days.

joserivas19 04-22-2010 12:14 AM

i wanted stainless steel for the tip, but they wanted 150 more to do it and they said it would be too heavy, so i stuck with aluminum. im not 100% happy with it but for now it'll work. maybe later i can afford a better one.

Oldsman 04-22-2010 12:14 AM

wow. they did good work.
