Door replace
 

How hard is it to change out a front drivers door on an Alero? Mine got bent up, though i straightened it out enough so it closes. I see the hinges come off easy but what about the door wiring? Are the connectors behind the kick panel?

I would have to change over my speaker as its aftermarket but I can get a salvage yard door in the correct color for $130.

Door works decent, only sticks a little when its cold out but would like to change it because its a sore spot on the car.

You can push out all the wiring from the hole where the hinges are. Other than that you have to make sure it's level before you rehinge it and your other major problem is going to be the differences in VIN numbers. You should probably have a reproduction sticker made for your car.

Are the wiring harness connectors behind the kick panel? I plan on removing the one bolt and sliding the two halves apart so alignment is easier. I will try to put my sticker on the new door
