AOTM of the past
 

Okay, so it's been brought to my attention that nobody knows what each AOTM contest is:

This is the 5th year I've started doing AOTM and all the past winners have been posted along with what each contest was that month.

Before I started doing it, the guy running it would let his personal feelings get in the way and not post a winner if somebody he didn't like would win, he would also delete pics if he felt that was the best pic and you weren't on his "A" list. Something like this you cannot let your personal feelings get in the way. I may have forgotten to post up the contest on time a few times, but I have always come thru, and that does include those annoy FB messages and texts and 30 seconds into the new month asking why the winner hasn't been posted yet. :rolleyes2:

Any altering with the AOTM pics, or voting process is dealt with, and he need all pics to be uploaded to Aleromod. Nothing more annoying than looking at pics and seeing that red "X"

Look at the past winners, and let get working on pics.

The thing is with this month tho is i dont think too many members live close to a beach

"Beach" is a general term. We've had people in the past park next to a body of water and that was enough

In all honesty, I didn't even try for a shot seeing as I'm in the 6 month rule.... seeing as there are fewer people posting with regularity lately I'm not sure we should have to wait 6 months to be eligible again.... I know there was talk of dropping that down to 3 months which I think is a better length to wait....

I don't like to post unless there is at least one other car. I like competition and don't want to waste eligibility for a default win. That doesn't really count to me. On the other hand if two people think that then neither will post when there could have been competition. Tbh I just forgot, I took a pic for it this spring.

I didn't bother to look at the deadline date, thought it was the end of the month. I was looking around for a location, though

And as I said before, I am at the limit of the site's upload capacity, which is about 5 pics.... unless you want to see more red x's in the archives ;)
