tps wiring diagram

Does anyone have a picture showing where the tps wiring runs to? I keep getting stupid low voltage/curcuit codes for my tps through HPT. And I need to trace the wiring from the tps all the way back to the pcm to see if wiring is damaged and it would be easier if I just had a picture to run off of instead of fiddle with huge amounts of wire.

If anyone has something. Thanks!

Ive replaced the tps numerous times with no fix. And even added a new pigtail for the tps also with no fix. So right now I cant tell if its the pcm that is bad or somewhere in the system wiring is messed up...

Also. If its a bad pcm is there a way I could buy a new one. Then transfer my things from old pcm to new one without paying 100$ to write a tune to it?

You would have to buy two more credits unfortunately. I may have diagram... give me a couple here

dark blue #16

I would start by tracing that sensor ground wire. "Wiggle" the wire while you scan the car and watch the TPS closely. Prop the throttle open so its reading 100% when you go fishing for the fault

Well I just picked up a new pcm about 5 mins ago and im going to try that first. Cost me close to nothing so no big deal.

The pcm is above the pedals on driver side of car right?

MMGT1 10-20-2013 06:34 PM

Yup, to the left of pedals actually. Clip holds it up in place, it will slide down, pull carpet back to give yourself a little room to work

Okay yeah then I got it lol and paul I hooked up the computer. Pedal to the floor. And wiggled wires up until it shoot down behind fuse box. And the tps % and voltage did not change.

Only thing now is to test it to see if the TPS fails with new pcm in it driving

sleepyalero 10-20-2013 07:16 PM

Right. Paul I sent you a pm. Please reply. :)

MMGT1 10-20-2013 07:50 PM
