Caboose73 05-04-2010 12:06 AM

Well it turns out your going to see it live i found a good deal on a fully built engine on the j-body so i think i might end up keeping it.

Small update finally got the MPR 12" Front Big Brake Kit all i can say is wow these things are HUGE. Heres some pics right out of the box ill make sure to take some pics next to the stock ones so you guys can see how big they really are.

Caboose73 08-18-2010 07:50 PM

Well heres the kit next to stock.
Top=MPR big brake kit
Bottom=Stock
and they fit under the stock 16inch rims.

lord2heart 08-18-2010 07:53 PM

brake caliper is effing huge lol

Caboose73 09-06-2010 10:29 PM

Well a small update finally got around to installing all my gauges. Its all kinda missed matched cause im in the process of switching over from glowshift to cyberdyne because cyberdyne gauges can be programmed to flash at a set value.

and i also got around to fixing my dam coolant leak and found out what was causing it. Top is an 11 year old 200,xxx mile water neck and the bottom one is brand new as you can see the top one was completely corroded the plastic was soft and falling apart.

Caboose73 11-30-2010 02:19 PM

Small update got the car up and running again had a huge fight with the brakes to get them working i ended up having to replace the back calibers and rotors cause they were all rusted and wouldnt work any more.I also got a better job now and have some extra money coming in so im going to start working on the car again.Heres a pic of the room i have with 16 inch rims

Caboose73 05-12-2014 12:33 AM

Well I'm digging this up from wayyy back I ended up getting a 04 gto with 23k on it and the poor aleros been sitting outside in my driveway for the past year being neglected. So I've decided to collect all the spare parts scattered around my garage to rebuild the alero bigger and better then before. I'll get pics of the alero as it sits now and all the random parts I have left over from the build that ended in disaster when I get back home in 2-3 weeks. But here's a few pics of the gto for now.

Nice. 5.7 or 6.0?

And why didnt you get a stick??

Also... welcome back

Caboose73 05-12-2014 01:32 AM

Its the 5.7l the main reason for getting an auto is I'm a truck driver and I drive stick 10hrs a day so I'm sick of it. The other reason was it was such a good deal I got it for 15.5k with only 23k on it and it looks brand new cause the guy who had it before barely drove it

sleepyalero 05-12-2014 06:40 AM

Hey thats a good reason to not get a stick haha.

Papa Rad17 05-12-2014 06:45 AM

I miss my old gto, that's looking good. sap gill and spoiler are awesome.

Caboose73 05-12-2014 08:36 PM

Ya I love the thing. As soon as its all paid off I'm going to start modding the thing but until then I figured the alero will keep me busy.

sleepyalero 05-12-2014 10:14 PM

We need more aleros
