Southwest Ontario Meet-Summer 2011
 

Alright guys... I just looked through some of the ASS pictures, and I am disappointed I missed out on going yet again... We need to get another meet together to give these guys a run for their money on the AOTM best group shot...
So... Where and When can we get together and have another meet? post up some dates and let's figure out one we can get the most Canadian guys together... Anyone else from across the border who can make it is more than welcome as well...

Always down for another meeting. I'm out camping this Canada day weekend. Other that that any Sunday works for me. As for the place.. hm maybe somewhere by the lake. So we can have a little bbq or so.

Ya once I start my new job Sunday's will be my only free day...

I'm sure we could find a spot down by lake Ontario, either down by the CNE grounds or somewhere just outside Toronto... I know Barrie has a nice waterfront, but that is a good hike... If anyone has any suggestions, serve them up!!

Sundays are my only days off too.
I used to live by Lake Shore and know a few nice places. Three options that come to my mind.
One spot is a park by Lake Shore Blvd and Park Lawn. A nice spot by the lake, with a parking lot with a view of downtown Toronto. Perfect for car photos.
Second is at Lake Shore Blvd and Promenade. Good for gatherings and meetings.
Third is a Port Credit. That's more of a meet-to-eat kind of thing, with lots of restaurants and fast food places.

I am up for pretty much anywhere with a little notice lol... Directions and a time frame work great, so let's see if we can set a date and then work on location...
Maybe either the last weekend in July or beginning of August? This should give people enough time to book time off on a Sunday to be able to attend, and get the most cars we can in the area together...

Put me down for the alero meet also. I live in Barrie currently; the waterfront there is pretty nice, but lakeshore is better :P. MUCH more alero's in toronto than barrie lol.

This year we will get more members to show up lol. Just hope that the weather holds up and no downpour of rain. I hope you guys worked on your alero in the past year and this year. Don't come to the meet saying "oh it looked the same last time you saw it" lol.

I would, but:
1. I like mah guns.
2. My car would surely be stripped to shit at the border and left that way. I don't like crossing "total control" borders.

Agreed...I don't like the idea of my car...or me being strip and cavity searched. Lets do a meet for guys in Michigan lol

I completely understand for the border crossing... it would be nice if there were a way to get over without the hassle, but im not sure how that would work... :(

I haven't done sh*t to my car since the last meet, except put 20k kms on it :D.
Soo, I will most likely be coming with my wife and my daughter.

You don't have full custody yet?

I am hoping to have the sedan available for that meet, so the later in July would be better for me... but if not, I bring the coupe again... what ever works to get the most people is good for me...

EDIT: So I was just told by the other half that the weekend of the 24th of July is out for me, as it has been booked for our daughter's 2nd Birthday party... so... if we could work it for July 31st, that would be great!!!

Do you guys want to get the GA community involved here?
They were trying to have a meet but not enough people were participating.

Maybe if we get all 3 communities (Mali's, Ho's and GA's) we can get a pretty decent showing.

This is your meet and thus of course up to you guys, I'm just presenting an idea here!

I hardly ever get hassle, and I crossed the border 4 times in the week before going to Lansing. (2x in MI, 2x in NY)

I don't mind if other communities join... the more the merrier... we could just have separate parking areas to use for group shots if anyone really cares to only have a specific n-body style in their shots...

I'll post on GA Owners Club because they were trying to get one going there too.
I know a couple of Malibu guys that I'll talk to as well.
