exhaust tips

So Ive been searching for a style tip that would go with the osv kits rear bumper.......I found a couple styles, what do you think...

I think this would look realy good, but i dont know if the opening would be wide enough.

tops one ftw.

They would be better if they weren't squared... I would just get one custom made when you get the kit, so it will be flush with the bumper. Or go corvette style and do 4 pipes in the center or maybe just two....

i found these they are for a porsh 2003-2004 986

or i would get the top ones and do some cutting and welding to make em more like the osv tips

just have them do the piping custom from the cat back.. so it meets in the middle of the rear bumper, and have some OSV tips fabbed out.. if uve got the kit the custom exhuast would make it all the more satisfying in the end... just my .02

I figure if we cant get the real osv tip made something like a corvette set up in the middle would be cool.

Bad99Olds 01-30-2008 04:21 PM

i think those corvet tips, if u did em side by side, in the middle, would look a lot like the real osv set up

paulyb 01-30-2008 05:28 PM

thats what I was thinking, but they made be to wide side by side to fit.

But i think thats what Im going to get.

Bad99Olds 01-30-2008 05:40 PM

yea that would look pretty sick, especially with the OSV kit :)

Redog 01-30-2008 06:36 PM

First ones look pretty good and the 2nd ones are cool, but not for the OSV kit.

Forget those 2 from Jegs

cavaliers60 01-30-2008 06:39 PM

Maybe we could get a group buy on some OSV tips. lol There's a couple metal shops here in town that could probably pull it together although they won't be chromed out or anything as we don't have that kind of technology around here...

Cliff8928 01-31-2008 02:14 AM

Well, I'm not sure on the size of this one, it's probably too big.

I picked up a set of custom-made stainless tips for the XLR a while back, I'd bet that the guy that made them would have no trouble making some for the OSV bumper.

paulyb 01-31-2008 09:31 AM

thats sick cliff the center could be cut out of the tips and the two pieces welded together it would be perfect....canyou hok me up with his info...

That particular picture is a SLP PowerFlo cast aluminum tip for a C5.

Anybody have tips like these?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-STA...Q5fAccessories

I think those look cool but I don't know if they'd fit the bumper cutout. I measured my stock cutout and it's 7" wide. I don't think they'll fit just wanted to ask.

http://www.autoblog.it/uploads/pagan...adster_104.jpg get those....

square exhausts are for squares
