Anyone with EL/Reverse Glow Gauges?
You guys remember if your kit had like an inverter/ballast inline or was it just direct wire up?
lol I quickly yanked my whiteface gauges from the red car and they don't work so I think I cut the wire too close to the goodies. at least my cool switch works |
Ya I missed the ballast/inverter/thing. Now it works.

Looks good, Chris.

At night its cool but in day time I despise that gauge overlay. I dont like seeing the warning lights like abs and all that.
|
psh it looks good during the day
(old picture. wish you could still buy a bezel overlay like that. mine deteriorated though) i'm putting my 2nd switch like that in the console top by the shifter, that one will control my interior subtle white LED lighting |
I dont like seeing all the words "service engine" and all that. Just tacky.

that looks good... i got a reverse glow gauge that i bought from fisdad that i plan on putting on when the weather gets right.. i like that button you added. nice touch!

eBay still has the carbon fiber looking bezel overlay. |
not the real one like in that picture. ebay has a hydrographics checkerboard pattern that doesn't even resemble real weave.
|
I like the reverse gauges myself. They color they put off is cool.

Maybe tinting the plastic and making the lights turn on all the time would solve that problem. My friend's Infiniti did that. I thought it was cool. when off |
