Car's doing something weird...
 

Ok so hopefully someone can tell me what's going on. When I'm cruising in 4th (auto trans 3.4 L) at around 10% throttle or so and let my foot off the gas the car automatically downshifts to third and the rpm hops up about 250. It does it at any speed from 40 to 70 and it just plain doesn't feel right. I'm going to guess the car isn't supposed to do that?

Wow. Apparently nobody knows... looks like its back to the transmisson shop again :(

maybe the torque converter? isn't that waht holds it in gears?

hopefully its an easy fix because it would suck if the had to tear it all apart again

Considering I had the whole trans rebuilt... idk. It did it before too so I thought the rebuild would fix it.

MAF possiblly?

I need a new one, but my car's bucking.

MAF is now en route :cool:
