Differences between EU and US version Alero

Hi all!
Got myself an EU assembly list printout from my parts supplier.
I read here about the differences in the export version of alero.
Maybe this list can clear more than just corners . . . . .
Here it is, personal stuff is blacked out çause thats personal:coolio:

If you can, can you post pictures of your headlights and taillights lit up with the fog lights working? I am interested in seeing how they differ compared to mine...
Thanks

neat.

btw... your vin isn't personal. we could probably piece it together, knowing what equipment your car has...

 your license plate is more personal then your vin... and you already posted that! ha

yea, VINs are not at all a thing that need to be kept secret like some people think. anybody who walks up to any car can read any vin, its posted in the front window of all vehicles.
and license plate? sure some people keep it secret but also with no reason. That is also anybody who walks anywhere near your car at any time can see.

cool to see some build code differences tho.

I blanked out my dealers phone etc.
He printed the list for free, and i like too keep the relationship in good order so i didn't want to expose them openly on the net.
yep, vin is not a secret, i saw . . . . . . lol, you are nice peeps here!

Well reading that list I don't know if the American Aleros have a 3.42 final drive ratio. I thought they were all 3.05 and 3.29 for the Grand Ams

Also a locking fuel cap is not an option here.

Plus your headlights are different, you could have 3 bulbs for the license plate where we only have one and we don't have the euro side marker on the fender ;)

Some of the 04's up here have them... I thought they were some ricer trying to act cool, then I saw some in a dealership and realized they were on the 04's...

You are close.
For the 4T40-E on 4-cylinder cars, the FDR is 3.42:1.
For the 4T45-E on V6 cars (except the GAGT only), the FDR is 3.05:1.
On the 4T45-E GAGT, the FDR is 3.29:1.
