o2 sensor spacer/defouler
 

i had my entire exhaust done about 5 months ago, and am now coming up with an issue. the pipe is all 2.25 in with pacesetter header, magnaflow hi flow cat and 2 mufflers. i replaced the upstream o2 sensor right away with a heated one and custom harness. about a month ago, i finally replaced the downstream sensor because it was throwing a code, and very well could have been the original one. now im getting the same code, even though everything is new.

friend of mine said he had a similar issue, and he used a 90* defouler to get the sensor farther out of the exhaust stream. would putting the sensor farther out of the airstream help at all, or is there really no fix? any help would be great.

Yeah, sometimes that works... I believe it's callled a non-fouler. The oxygen sensor uses an 18mm thread size.
