Exhaust Tips... What to get

Just wondering what suggestions are out there for the type of tips to get... I will be going with a single in/dual out muffler, just wondering if I should do 1 large oval tip per side, or dual tips each side...
Suggestions with pictures and links are greatly appreciated!
I tried searching, but most pictures have been removed... or just show up as red x's...

I'm looking into ordering some exhaust tips for my Alero, are they easy to install? This is coming from a noobie... haha.

depends on what you're getting.. If you get the cheap bolt on ones from crappy tire, I think they just slip on the stock tips and screw on.

My brother installed these on my Alero when it was his and they've been on my car for well over 5 years.

Awesome, thank you! Would you happen to know what the size of the exhaust tip should be?? I'm thinking 3.5in but not 100% sure.

thats ion_c2's car. i forget what system he has.

he needs to raise his pass side exhaust and cut out a bit of the bumper so it will match with the driver side, thats what i did.

rozzy9 10-24-2012 12:52 AM

Ok cool, if the inlet on my stock exhaust is 2.25in, what sizing do I need for the tips? Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure I'm getting the right item haha.

sleepyalero 10-24-2012 01:28 AM
