Mines broken too, and I don't know if you can order JUST that piece to fix it.

Aleromaster 10-13-2004 10:46 PM

Yeah mine also broke on the passenger side. I am going to the parts department at work maybe tomarrow and I'll get the part number and cost for you guys

pics? i cant picture which piece in my head

Probably the little plastic piece that keeps the metal part from sliding up and down on the belt so much. Thats what broke on mine. I can see a part number on it, but gm-car-parts.com does not have anything for that number.

Mine did the same thing, and let me tell you, I think it's a pain now to search for the seatbelt buckle all the way by the floor and get it up past that little button on the belt itself. (((sigh))) I hope super glue will work

Aleromaster 10-14-2004 11:02 AM

Oh I was talking about the cover on the shoulder pivot part. The little nub that holds up the belt only cost a couple bucks at a GM dealer. I bought some in NH before I moved.

smokinAMD 10-14-2004 12:32 PM

I'm talking about the rectangular plastic piece that goes over the buckle itself.

kwhauck 10-14-2004 12:38 PM

me too

StealthAlero99 10-14-2004 11:54 PM

yeah the thing that keeps the clip thing from goin all the way down to the floor, it is a pain. I am goin to try to rig something maybe just the superglue part of it back onto the metal, so that the button will stop it.
Thanks for the input guys.
