Thanks for the heads up, been trying to get info on this for awhile and that was the best I could get.

I would assume to open that cover you have to drain out all the oil in the system correct?

mine does the same i just have not had the money to go and try replacing the resistor yet, but that would be my suggestion as well, i am told they are fairly cheep.

never mind with the help of 03glgold i figured out that it was actually just a broken knob inside the car, the temperature select middle knob had a broken piece.
