I don't know what the maximum power that the bottom end can take. But you can get forged internals. Pistons by Wiseco and rods by Eagle. Don't know who makes bearings.

When I got my Alero last year I started with semi-synth 5w30 for about 6 months then I did an oil flush of the engine to remove the gunk, and switched to full synth. It's really your choice.

If I had a bad O2 sensor wouldn't it throw any codes? Never had a check engine light come on yet (knock on wood). And I take it threre's no way to unclog a cat converter other than changing it out.

I'd be interested in the Alero + Olds symbol one, and changing the top speed to insane, crazy or nutz would be cool too. But if it can come in KPH I would be in for sure. :thumb:
