Have a 2003 Sedan, with 2.2l

Usually get 280-300 km by half tank (for a number of years now).
Recently though, mileage been worse (250 or less).

Problem started about 4 weeks ago.... 3 weeks ago...

Need to determine in the unit is getting power. Suspect that is the problem, so the dealer can't scan the module - thinks it is dead. They seem pretty useless to me if they cant track down a wiring...

The extended rubber boots/connectors - they can cause a misfire too. Check for carbon trails on the rubber, etc.

- One trick for test those - get a GOOD set of test...

It didn't show any physical signs of a problem.

The symptoms with missfire were made worse as the engine...

I figured I'd post this in case anyone searches for the same problem...

Driving along about 90km/hr and check engine light goes on, engine revs jump up, then bogs, lose speed - run for a mile or so...
