get no boom...do you mean no sound at all or just not loud like you would expect? If there is sound then it's just settings on the amp, check the gain setting on your amp.

I think you mean connecting them in parallel. Connection in series would actually increase the amp from 4 ohms to 8 homes. Series connections = one blows everything else goes.
