Wheel bearing is 100 or so to DIY. Worst case scenario is you have to rent tools to finish the job, its like a 27, 32, or 35mm nut to get the main nut off ( I don't remember ) then like 3 or 4...

That may be true, and bdymans customizations are more desirable than interior paint and stickers, but it still doesn't justify the price. Low mileage unmolested aleros can be had all day for 3-4k.

I wouldn't say it looks stupid, but the color is not my style. Might be nice if blue and gold are local sports team colors or something, but otherwise I would probably go back to silver myself.
