My friend has a v8 mustang I beat him off the line in the rain and feel like the 3400 is a great motor

Thanks that gives me a boost of confidence that I can get it done I can get the whole gasket set for $90 from my work so I think I can get a rebuild for less than a grand (mostly beer cost)

I'm new to this site so if this has been posted before please forgive.
My v6 3.4L blew the gasket and I'm stubbern so I'm going to try a rebuild has anyone done this and got it working?? Any advise...
