ended up being a ignition coil. it was code p302...

ended up being a ignition coil. it was code p302 (cylinder 2 misfire). changed the coil again and all is good for now.

now im really puzzled. got the multiple misfire...

now im really puzzled. got the multiple misfire code. changed the plugs, boots,coil cover, coil pack, and module. still doing the same thing.

99 Alero missing really bad

my 99 alero started missing really bad today. it is 2.4L. On Friday, I replaced the Oil Pressure Sensor, because it was leaking oil from it. Once I replaced it, it quit leaking but by this time oil...

my options dont make much since. my car is power everything disc/disc brakes but no spoiler and hubcaps. it shows only the top of the line has rear disc but mine does.

i lucked out this time. it was the plastic...

i lucked out this time. it was the plastic thermastat housing. 15 bucks and antifreeze and good as new.

Coolant Leak

I have a 99 Alero 2.4L. It seems like about once every 3-4 weeks the low coolant light comes on and I check it and it is usually only about 1/2 gallon low. I cant find anywhere where it is leaking...

transmission fluid

i need to know how much transmission fluid i need to change my transmission fluid. auto/4cyl. also someone told me it might be a non-service transmission and cant be changed. let me know guys. thanks

transmission fluid

i am going to change the transmission fluid and filter today but i cant find out how many quarts it takes. the owners manuel just says it should never need changed.

thats probably right. i gave $28 shipped for my cavalier 2.2l but i had to get a different coupler because it didnt fit the throttle body right but the rest was okay

my mechanic changed mine out when he put front rotors and pads on. i didnt even know i had one broke until then. he didnt charge any labor. $25 for everything

looks like the ebay intake. any problems with the install. i did one on my cavalier and it wouldnt fit over the throttle body. had to go to advance a get the right size coupler

just curious, how does the cams swap make the car sound? does it lope? my other car is a WS6 so im really a V-8 guy but for that kind of performance gain for $100 i might be interested
