Since the 3400 engine in the alero took a dump i was looking at maybe a 4 cylinder swap because well my wife does tend to drive alot. As far as installation pcm and wiring harness. Tranny problems?...

If you want to go big just use a 68mm TB wot-tech supplies those aswell only on request BUT unless your going to run boost then i would think a 62mm would be enough.
