Ok I got a 1999 2.4 Auto with about 120,xxx miles. Done the major tune up which included new:
AC Delco plugs, boots, coil wire, and coils (didnt change coil housing)

I used a regular 3 jaw puller on one at the junk...

I used a regular 3 jaw puller on one at the junk yard and ended up pulling it apart. It seperated from the steel ring that slips over the shaft.
Reason im trying to get it out is because I F'ed up...

Ok I have pulled them before but your typical wheel remover wont cut it nor will a jaw puller.

I have a 99 2.4 Auto and idles like crap because of all the shaking it does. When I give it very little gas and raise the rpm to about 700 then all the shaking goes away....

Bad knock sensor connection. It was unplugged somehow, plugged back in and runs good. Still got the rough idle..

Question Will O2 always throw CEL if bad ?

I have a 2.4 and got a rough idle but my car is not throwing any codes. I am thinking motor mounts as it only idles rough (Vibrates & Shakes) in Drive, 1st, 2nd and 3rd, does not in idle or reverse....

I will check, for any water residue around there. My car also has about 115,000 miles and nothing has been touched or change. Dreading the water pump change soon. No oil and water mix either.
