The thermostat is at the back of the engine, where the metal tube comes up to the water pump. Once you take that plastic piece off the head, you'll be able to read that on the part :)

Every 2.4L PCM I've ever seen topped out at 108mph. Whether or not your speedometer is accurate at that speed, is the question. Not that I would trust a G-Tech any more than the stock speedometer...
