Haven't been on in a while..but yes it was written off...damages of $5500...value of $4750. All the dash, radio, and controls would have needed to be replaced. The dash mount was wrecked too. ...

Step 2 - Open trunk, lower rear seats and place down center of the car...

Yeh, the wood was resting on the center console. I was resting my arm on it when it went through the car...did a number to the passenger seat though. Definately an original way to writeoff a car.

My car seems to be periodically turning itself on, in addition when it is really cold out -20 C my alarm often seems to set itself off for no reason. Any tips? The combo is about 5 years old...

You can buy a white frosted paint at home depot...
You can buy a white frosted paint at home depot or many other stores in a spray can...it is also supposed to be non permanent as you can apparently re-dissolve it with solvent.
