I doubt it would be the sway bar. I suppose it could be a lateral link, but my first guess would be the trailing arm.

If it's a trailing arm, should be pretty cheap, even new.

Ah ok. It's been a while since I got rid of the Alero. Mine didn't have the AIR system anyway, but the wrecked GAGT I bought a few years back did. I seem to recall the only thing on the drivers...
