Sounds like the linkage wasn't in the park position when the wiper arms were re-mounted. Try taking the arms back off, turning the wiper switch on, then back off and re-mount the arms in the park...

Sounds like the relay to me, too...since it's only doing it at night. The sensor is telling the computer it's dark, computer commands the DRL relay on, and nothing happens. Boom...code.

Actually, you can get to it by just removing 1 of the bolts from the mount, but it's a hell of a struggle. It's alot easier if you just remove the top bolts from the mount and jack up the engine...
