Well if it's the same as the 2004, there is a rack/platform screwed to the body and the battery and fuse box are mounted to it. You'll have to get that battery out first and then probaly that...

Heh you did the exact same thing as me, I crossed the wires for my leds in teh transaxle shifter lamp harness. Yeah, when the key is turned to second position, just before crank. But that's normal.
