why do you think it will raise your compression so high? .005 is only really surfacing the head to make sure its not warped and seals properly, yes a thicker head gasket will drop the compression ratio a little. 11:1 is ok, unless you are gonna go boost. thats what my old 82 mustang ran. and you have a PT to work out the KR.
