It's pretty easy to take the mirror off... Just grab it from the bottom of the mirror and gently pull out. Should pop right off. As far as the switch goes, I do have one somewhere... Just no where for the switch to go. I really don't want a bunch of switches just hanging around everywhere. But I'll look into it.
