Damn, you copying from me
I bought my LG back in March 2010 at Sears becasue they had a sale "Spend $999 and up and get 0% APR for 12 months" So I spent $700 on the TV and $300 on my PS3, add in a remote control for the PS3, and an extra controler and 2 games, and it came of to $1142.
Anyway, I bought an LG 37 inch, LCD, 1080i, 120 hz and it's pretty cool. IMHO the LG had the best picture. I was going to buy the LG 42 inch LED at best Buy for $1200. They had the same sale, but at Best Buy, TV's and video games are two different departments and I couldn't get the APR deal on the PS3 too. Sears, everything is "electronics"
And before anybody asks, yes it's all paid for and was paid 2 months ahead of time
Anyway, IMO, LED is a nicer TV than LCD. It's a much brighter picture. Don't buy a 60hz. You're better off throwing your money in the street. 60hz blurs a lot of the action. If I were to buy today, I'd probably get a 240 hz, 1080i, LED. I'd go bigger too. I bought 37 because that is what's best for my viewing area. I probably could have gotten the 42, but that would have been the MAX. When I move into a house, I'll keep the 37 for a while, then buy something bigger for the living room and put the 37 in my bedroom
