dunno if it was covered of not... but if your car is meant to run on 87... and you put a higher octane fuel in such as 93... the increased resistance to burn means a less complete burn by the time it cycles and you wind up with a bunch of shit in your exhaust which basically does nothing but decrease the life of your catalytic converter. so basically. if you dont need the high octane due to some forced induction, and you think you are 'giving your car a treat' you're a fool who wastes money.
