As long as the car heats up fast and stays there while stop and go city traffic your good.

Did you clean your cooling system? That is getting a good portion of the scale / limescale out? As this would hinder the radiator a lot, and would produce hot conditions if there wasn't enough airflow (e.g. city driving)

I cleaned it out as best as I could. The petrooster on my radiator was broken, and I couldn't fully drain it. ( and the lower hose is on so tight to get it off, I'd just have to cut it off and put a new one on, but I didn't have the time.) so I ran some radiator cleaning fluid through it and flushed it out by sticking the hose into one of the inlet hoses from the reservoir to the radiator and flushed it through the reservoir then filled it with distilled water and Dexcool.

Thanks for the help! I noticed other people were having a similar problem, but no one could figure out what was causing it.
