I like it. I left the front weather strip off mine, though. In the winter, you should see waves from the heated air rise over the windshield.
The thing is, if it gets hot enough for the fans to kick on, the ECT drops to whatever the fan settings are, but the intake manifold temp rises because it's in the airpath. That's more of an issue when the car is sitting still or in slow traffic, not so much when you're racing. So sometimes it's not a good idea to have the fans kick on at a lower temp.
