IDK, If you go with a different tranny than the 4t40 or 4t45 you may have to do custom axles. I'm not sure, but you might wanna check up on that.
The 2.0 in the Cobalt is the motor your talking about, correct?, remember that the Cobalt is lighter than an Alero.
You can built up a 3.4 motor well too, and then put a 4t65HD tranny on that bitch, and your golden. But custom axles
will come with that project. I'm looking into this with the new motor when I blow this one up. Stage 2 cam, Stage 2 heads, Stage 2 PCM, maybe a harder crank. It will be sweet
