I have no idea, but the repair/rebuild procedure is probably the same. I believe I did mention using my 1995 Ford Escort factory service manual for places where the Alero factory service manual was inadequate. That should give you an idea as to how generic these things are. Basically, the differences might be only the way it mounts and if you go back a few years the regulator and rectifier were inside the alternator casing. If you went back even longer the regulatar was external and often mounted on the sidewall. But in any event they still pretty much work the same as they did decades ago except for the capacity as gone up and things like the regulator were once mechanical.
