if it was me, id duplicate the concern with a fuel pressure gauge hooked up to the fuel rail and tapped to the windshield. basic but will tell you if that is your problem without a doubt. borrow one if you have to.

oh and make sure to try it with the same amount of fuel. hard to belive but maybe starving the pump with that kind of prolonged acceleration?
