Unbelievable as it may sound, I spent about 3 hours swapping and tacking all kinds of boomcans on the 2.2L, and the best we found, was one of those stupid glasspacks from Canadian Tire.
Its not sticking out of the end on the can, it's actually right up near the trunk box, and then extended about 2 inches, into a polished stainless SilverStar dual muffler tip.
There is no rice at all, it has a nice deep rumble at idle
, I havn't come on to it yet, but that's comin' tonight . The whole thing, welded and installed took about 3 hr's, but he only billed me for about 45 mins labor. 200 bucks at a specialty shop.
