Is the gasket metal as well? I'm just thinking, now you know these dimensions, would it be possible to weld the flares on that gasket to go inside the header? You could make them and sell them as a fix and make a bit of money on the side.... I'm not sure if it's possible at all but thought I'd mention it...  good work man!
