Dude, dont spend $170 on it just for MPG. if you want the most accurate reading of MPG this is what you do....

after you fill up, reset your trip meter. next time you fill up take the miles and divide them by how many gallons you put in. so say you had 240 miles and it took 11.2 gallons to fill.....divide them and you have your MPG.
