Proof? My custom HPTuners calculation utilizes injector pulsewidths, RPM, speed, MAP, etc. to provide instantaneous MPG.

You can see what conditions maximize MPG and what affects it real-time. You can see what cruising speed you get the maximum MPG, or what acceleration rate you should do to maximize MPG.
