Did mine around the beginning of the year. Yes, put the gears and chain in as a set. There should be a piece of paper with a warning on it with the tensioner.. don't loose it. The tensioner comes with the plunger compressed, after the chain chain is installed and timed, you need to release the plunger on the tensioner.
