Actually, the convertible will run high 15's or low 16's due to the fact that convertibles are actually always heavier than hard tops. This is because you lose structural rigidity when you lose the columns, roof, and c-pillars. The engineers then need to add alot more structural reinforcement underneath the car to keep it from flexing. The only time this is not true is when you take a hard top and simply cut the roof off with a chain saw (or other implement of destruction).
