Umm................. not sure what you're saying. With an automatic, between shifts, boost jumps because the engine is unloaded and the wastegate can't slow down the turbo fast enough to deal with it. Boost drops off really quick back down to where it should be, but the spike between shifts is dangerous. Boost is always changing depending on throttle position and gear and all that. You don't just tune for 100% throttle. I tune for everything.

The fueling tables are done by MAP vs. RPM. So at 4000 RPM with 190 kPa there's a certain fueling percentage. And 4000 with 150 kPa there's a fueling percentage. If the boost is bouncing all over the place and not staying smooth it will cause you to get bad data and then alter the fueling percentages incorrectly.
