i mean with the 50/50 and string idea. having a 50/50 mix is going to change the boiling point of water. shouldnt even boil until 212F anyways. so unless your higher then mt everest 108f is not right and you should recheck your process of measuring. go buy a cheap used pot to test in if you have to.
