Finally done! It was a relatively cheap fix. The hole in the oil pan was pretty small, so I removed the oil pan, and had it welded both inside and out. I installed it today, along with new oil, and the engine seems to be doing great. There was no metallic residue in the pan upon removal,and the engine is not making any noises to be concerned about.
