3. Use the torx screwdriver to undo the screw holding the rearview mirror to the window, and undo the wire to the rearview built in lights (if you have them). Now place your fingers above where the mirror was, between the headliner and the windshield, and pull down until the metal clips holding the overhead compartment to the roof detach from the roof.
