So I'm going to be installing a really basic system in my girlfriends '06 Cobalt...the problem is she wants to keep her stock HU...I've heard of line-out converters and from what I can tell they basically just tap into the wire to the rear speakers then convert it to RCA's correct? I'm wondering because I've got plenty of RCA connectors lying around that i could just splice in myself...I didn't know if the LOC had something special that made it different?
