um it would help if u guys knew what you were talkin about.
the amount of airflow has nothing to do with it. putting the filter in the fender allows it to suck in COOLER air as opposed to WARM air from the engine bay.
the amount of air flowing into the actually filter makes no difference cause you suck in more air than the engine needs in the first place.
